Jorge Dutor y Guillem Mont De Palol

Jorge (Madrid, 1979) y Guillem (Girona, 1978) colaboran juntos desde el 2008.
Jorge, estudió en la RESAD de Madrid, es escenógrafo y performer. Guillem es coreógrafo, bailarín y performer. Empezaron a trabajar juntos en Amsterdam, donde Guillem estudió en la SNDO (School for New Dance Development). Desde entonces han realizado los trabajos: UUUHHH, YO FUI UN HOMBRE LOBO ADOLESCENTE INVENTANDO HORRORES (2009), Y POR QUÉ JOHN CAGE? (2011), #LOSMICRÓFONOS (2013) y la película THISMOVIE (2013). Estos trabajos han sido presentados en varios contextos como: La Casa Encendida, Antic Teatre, Mercat de les Flors, Festival Escena Abierta Burgos, AltVigo, Short Theatre Festival Roma, Festival NEO, Festival In-presentable, Festival Panorama o La Alhóndiga Bilbao entre otros.
Sus intereses artísticos se centran en el lenguaje, la materialidad de la voz, el cuerpo y su semiótica, la musicalidad y el ritmo. La. cultura popular, el humor y las ganas de crear sentido y discurso de la nada son ejes centrales en sus dramaturgias entendiendo el espacio y el tiempo desde una perspectiva coreográfica. Dar espacio a la imaginación de quién mira es una de las premisas fundamentales en todos sus trabajos.

La visita de Jorge Dutor y Guillem Mont De Palol cuenta con el apoyo del fondo de movilidad español PICE: www.accioncultural.esPere Faura, Barcelona 1980, graduated from the School for New Dance Development in Amsterdam (SNDO) in 2006, and his graduating piece won the ITS Festival Award and was selected for the DansClick tour all around The Netherlands. That same year he became resident choreographer at Frascati Theatre in Amsterdam, where he created most of his works, presented internationally, and in 2009 received the prestigious Price Charlotte Köhler Prijs.

After graduating from the Amsterdam Master of Choreography in 2011, returned to Barcelona where he continued developing hi work in different creation centers in the city, as well as collaborating with other artists like Iñaki Alvarez, Joan Escofet, Aggtelek or Desilence Studio, among others.

Pere Faura’s work is based on the appropriation of elements of pop culture, such as striptease, disco, musicals or porn, which he remix into a new multidisciplinary choreography combining all the elements of the theatrical convention.

Apart from his work as a maker, he’s also involved in programming activities and designing new contexts for artistic exhibition by being a member of the collective ARTAS (ARTistas ASociados a La Poderosa) and a founding member of G.R.U.A. (Grup de Recerca d’Universos Artístics) together with Claudia Solwat and Anna Rubriola.
